Dear Prime Minister,
On the assumption of office as the new British Minister, I wish, on behalf of the Government and People of Ghana, and on my own behalf, to convey my sincere congratulations to you and your in-coming Government.
I am confident that your experience as Leader of the Conservative Party has richly equipped you for the tasks and challenges that may confront you and your Government in the years ahead.
I therefore look forward to working closely with you during your tenure as Prime Minister to strengthen and expand the scope of the bilateral relations between Ghana and the United Kingdom to the mutual benefit of our peoples and that the historic bonds of cooperation will also be reinforced.
Please accept Mr. Dear Prime Minster, the assurances of my highest consideration.
